The Turtle Duhks were born out of festival jam sessions, and include fiddler Lydia Garrison of the New York based Turtle Island Dreams, and banjoist Leonard Podolak and guitarist Jordan McConnell, both of The Duhks. Specializing in old-timey and neo-traditional folk material with just a touch of Celtic influence, the trio’s debut album, True Lover has an easy, unhurried feel that is both joyful and comforting.
