Rushad Eggleston Bio
Rushad Eggleston is a wackily inventive cellist, poet-philosopher and composer. He was the first string player ever awarded a full scholarship to Berklee College of Music, and became their first active student ever to be nominated for a Grammy award. With an intimate knowledge of classical music, jazz, and bluegrass under his fingers, coupled with an infamously infectious sense of rhythm, Rushad has been called “a whole futuristic wonder-band expressed through just one person”. He has toured regularly with fiddler Darol Anger and neo bluegrass band Crooked Still, and played at such impressive venues as Carnegie Hall and The Kennedy Center. Mystical4 Track Recordings of Snee is his latest self-produced recording.
