In their 29-year history, American roots music practitioners extraordinaire Big Sandy & His Fly-Rite Boys have released 14 albums filled with undiluted joyful music pulled from rockabilly, rock ‘n’ roll, honky tonk, rhythm and blues, soul and doo-wop. They’ve toured hundreds of thousands of miles for over 3,000 live performances, and were inducted into the Rockabilly Hall of Fame. Their latest album, the 2013 What A Dream It’s Been, is an all-acoustic reinterpretation of the band’s favorite songs that have brought them to where they are today.
