The current lineup of members of the group include Ivan Neville himself on keyboards and vocals, Ian Neville on guitar, Nicholas Daniels on saxophone, Tony Hall on bass and vocals, Alvin Ford Jr. on drums, and Kate Peterson Simonds on background vocals. They are well known for their soulful grooves delivered with a heavy rock-infused vibe and have earned themselves the nickname “Godfathers of NOLA funk”.
