In 2018, boogie woogie blues piano player and singer Veronica Lewis made her Rhythm & Roots debut as a “Future of Roots” performer, and this young woman is off to a phenomenal start. She was the Granite State Youth Blues Challenge winner every year from 2015-2019, has opened for such notables as Mr Sipp “The Mississippi Child”and Sugaray Rayford, and performed in the 32nd, 33rd & 34th International Blues Challenge in Memphis. She’s garnered such prestigious awards as 2020’s Boston Blues Challenge Winner, 2020’s Best Young, Artist-New England Music Hall of Fame and Blues Artist of the Year 2020, Boston Music Awards.  

Her debut album, the 2021 You Ain’t Unlucky” on Blue Heart Records, raced to the #2 position on Billboard, #1 on iTunes, and spent 6 weeks as #1 inthe Roots Music Report.  A mesmerizing live performer with serious piano chops, soaring vocals, and songs that boogie away your blues, she’s a seasoned pro at 18, rocking the piano and electrifying audiences with music that’s exciting and energetic, yet rhythmically complex and challenging.
