Attention music lovers, there’s something new brewing out of the music scene in Lafayette, LA! Meet Orchestre Royal- the newest supergroup disguised as a sidegroup destined to take center stage! A veteran crew makes up Orchestre Royal (pronounced en francais); you’ll recognize Steve Riley and Kevin Wimmer from Steve Riley & the Mamou Playboys, Roddie Romero and Eric Adcock from Roddie Romero & the Hub City All Stars, and Kyle Hebert and Jermaine Prejean from their work with numerous Louisiana bands. You’ve seen them all play in their own respective groups, but never in this configuration.

Reinventing the classics, challenging each other’s own playing while remaining superbly loyal to the groove, this new outfit is guaranteed to deliver. Just because you know them doesn’t mean you know all their tricks because they’re pulling out all the stops with this Cajun/Creole/Swamp Pop symphony of sound.
