Camping at Rhythm & Roots:

GENERAL INFORMATION:
Ninigret Park is flat, grassy and spacious! It is perfect for RVs, pop-up campers and tents. Camping at Ninigret Park is allowed ONLY during the Rhythm and Roots Festival. A full festival camping ticket includes camping from 9:00 am Friday thru Noon on Monday (Labor Day). Each person over the age of 12 who plans to camp at Rhythm & Roots needs a full festival camping ticket. Anyone without a full festival camping ticket must leave the premises by 12:30 each night (a half hour after the music ends at the dance pavilion).

AMENITIES:
Portable toilets, hand washing stations and drinking water are provided free of charge. Showers are available for a nominal fee. There are bike trails, hiking trails, tennis courts, a planetarium and freshwater swimming pond on site.  Bikes are allowed in Ninigret Park (camping areas, bike trails, etc), but not allowed in the music area. There will be a bike "corral" near the entrance where you can park your bike. Please secure your bike with a lock while you're enjoying the shows.

Private Portapotty Rental: Now you can rent your very own private, locked and cleaned portapotty for your campsite, call Al at SANI-KAN: 401-413-6400. He'll be happy to fix you right up!

TOWN OF CHARLESTOWN ALCOHOL POLICY:
Please note: The Town of Charlestown does not allow alcohol in the Ninigret Park camping area. Rhythm & Roots vendors will have beer and wine for purchase inside the concert area. Beer and wine must be consumed inside the concert area.

CAMPING ARRIVAL PROCEDURES:
Regarding Thursday Night: Ninigret Park gates will be closed to the public at 7:30 PM Thursday. If you will be in the area on Thursday night (and many people are because of music happening at the Towers), you will need to make arrangements to stay elsewhere. You will not be able to camp until Friday at the festival. And you will not be permitted to line up outside the park gate. Regarding Friday Morning: Gates to Ninigret Park will open at sunrise (6:00 AM) Friday, at which time campers will be allowed to line up inside Ninigret Park -- and wait for the camping gates to open at 9:00 AM. Please do not arrive earlier than 6:00 AM. As mentioned above, the gates will be locked and parking along the road is not allowed. 

Camping gates will open at 9:00 AM Friday. You will need your ticket printout and ID. And we will do our best to get everyone into the camping area quickly. Please have your ticket printout and ID ready when our volunteers come to  your vehicle.

TICKETS:
We sell only 1500 camping tickets at Rhythm & Roots. It is highly recommended that you purchase your tickets in advance, as we very often sell out before the gates open.  

CAMPING TICKET ALERT:
Camping tickets are sold ONLY as a Full Festival package.
We do NOT sell one-day camping tickets.
