ABOUT RHYTHM & ROOTS
Q: What rules are there for R&R this year? A: FESTIVAL GUIDELINES have been established to ensure that a safe and enjoyable time is had by all at this year's Rhythm and Roots Festival. 1. MAIN STAGE CONCERT SEATING: The concert area opens one hour before show time each day. All seating is on a first come, first served basis. There is no reserved seating. All seating must be removed at the end of each night. 2. TARPS & BLANKETS: Patrons may place ONE tarp or blanket in the Main Stage concert area each day. Size: 8' X 8' or smaller. No saving space for others. 3. UNOCCUPIED SEATS: Seating that is left unoccupied may be used by others while you are gone. If you return to find someone in your seat, kindly let the occupant know that you have returned and need your seat back. This allows fans to enjoy a better seat for a short time and also assures that artists aren't playing to empty seats. 4. NEW SUNSHADE AREA: Due to many complaints that we received last year about sunshades, umbrellas and canopies blocking the view of others, we have created a new space for shelters in the Main Stage concert area. Sunshades, umbrellas, canopies, etc. may be set up BEHIND the feather blade banners that you will see as you enter the concert area. Please do not set up any shelter that will block the view of others in front of this line. We appreciate your cooperation. 5. BAG CHECK: We will again have a bag check upon entering the Concert Area. Here is a list of items not allowed through the festival gates: pets, glass bottles, alcoholic beverages and cooking devices. 6. GOLF CARTS & ATVs: The use of personal golf carts and ATVs in Ninigret Park require insurance coverage of $1,000,000. 7. ALCOHOL: The Town of Charlestown prohibits alcohol throughout Ninigret Park, except within the Concert Concession Area where beer and wine are available for purchase to adults with proper ID. As always, we appreciate your understanding, cooperation and input as we strive to make R&R the best experience for all involved.
